India's Ministry of External Affairs has condemned recent Pakistani airstrikes on Afghan territory, describing them as aggressive actions that killed several civilians and destroyed civilian infrastructure.

Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that Pakistan continues to harbor enmity toward an independent Afghanistan and urged respect for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Taliban Ministry of Defense claimed its forces responded to the airstrikes with operations along the border in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, killing 14 Pakistani soldiers and wounding 11 others. The ministry said Afghan forces captured a Pakistani military outpost, destroying one armored tank and one truck.

Pakistani authorities acknowledged drone attacks by Taliban forces inside Pakistan but dismissed Taliban casualty claims as propaganda. Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari condemned the drone strikes, saying they crossed a red line.

Khaama Press reported the Pakistani airstrikes targeted areas in Kabul, Kandahar, Paktika and Paktia provinces. Tensions have escalated along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, with both sides accusing each other of aggression.
