
Freedom Front claims attack on Taliban checkpoint in Kunduz
The Freedom Front of Afghanistan announced that its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Chawk Balahisar, Kunduz province, on the evening of Monday, 27 Dalu. In a statement, the group claimed that two Taliban members were killed and two others wounded in the attack.
Local sources in Kunduz had reported an explosion in the same area to Afghanistan International the previous evening. The Taliban has not commented on the incident, as is customary.
The Freedom Front also stated that on Sunday, 26 Dalu, it attacked Taliban forces in the first security district of Kunduz, claiming to have killed two members and wounded one. The group published images of both attacks on the social media platform X.
