Defense Forces Foil Arms Smuggling Attempt in Paktia

Mawlawi Siddiqullah Nasrat, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of National Defense, stated that forces of the 3rd Border Brigade foiled an arms smuggling attempt last night in Qe'mati village, Dand Patan district, Paktia province.

Nasrat said the operation resulted in the seizure of 20 Krinkov rifles, 4 Kalashnikovs and 2 M4 rifles.

The deputy spokesman added that security forces continue their efforts against illegal activities, including arms smuggling.
