Denis Kratiuk, Crimea's Minister of Agriculture, stated that Afghanistan and Azerbaijan are gradually replacing part of Iran's agricultural products in the Russian market amid a reduction in Iranian supplies.

Kratiuk told Crimean Sputnik Radio that the shift particularly affects products Iran supplied to Russia during the winter season, with supplies from the other countries now increasing. He noted that the process of replacing Iranian suppliers could happen relatively quickly.

The comments were based on a report published by Russian commercial centers. Russia remains an important market for importing fruits and agricultural products from regional countries, and such changes in supply sources could impact agricultural trade in the region, including Afghanistan's exports.
