Bayat Foundation Distributes Ramadan Aid in Laghman Province

The Bayat Foundation distributed food assistance to dozens of families in Laghman province as part of its annual Ramadan aid program.

Officials from the foundation stated that the aid packages included flour, rice and cooking oil, distributed to needy families following a transparent survey. Haji Mohammad Ismail, deputy of the Bayat Foundation, said: "Continuing the Bayat Foundation's aids for the holy month of Ramadan, which is launched every year, fortunately today we came to Mehtarlam city of Laghman province and distributed aid to a number of deserving people who were surveyed by the Bayat team and their list prepared, including flour, oil and rice. This aid continues in other provinces and Kabul."

Ataullah Sahl, a representative of the Bayat Foundation, added: "We started this year's Ramadan aids in Laghman. Alhamdulillah, hundreds of deserving families have been selected very transparently and in coordination with officials."

Khalil al-Rahman Sediqi, representative of the Laghman Economy Department, expressed gratitude: "We are very thankful for today's aids from the Bayat Foundation. These were truly deserving people who had come to our office multiple times with petitions. We ask the Bayat Foundation to continue their aids and support the poor people of Laghman."

Recipients also voiced appreciation while noting ongoing needs. Nawid Ahmad, a recipient, said: "We have no money. Thank you to the Bayat Foundation for helping us." Khadija, another recipient, stated: "We are very poor people. May God accept their help in this holy month of Ramadan."

The Bayat Foundation has a record over the past two decades of assisting the needy, supporting victims of natural disasters, and contributing to reconstruction efforts, particularly in health and education sectors.
