Afghanistan Electricity Company Director Stresses Timely Revenue Collection During Kunduz Visit

Mullah Abdul Haq Hamkar, the general executive director of the Afghanistan Electricity Company, visited Kunduz province accompanied by a technical delegation and met with Maulvi Nasrullah Mutie, the governor of Kunduz.

Hamkar informed the governor about the initiation and plans of various electricity sector projects in the province. He requested cooperation for the completion of the projects and the provision of necessary facilities. Hamkar emphasized the timely collection of revenues from electricity sales and called for joint efforts to address illegal electricity usage.

The governor appreciated the efforts of the Afghanistan Electricity Company on development projects and assured the director of full cooperation.

Hamkar also visited the Asqalan sub-station in Kunduz. He instructed local workers there to ensure regular electricity supply, conduct monitoring, and carry out maintenance of equipment.
