Afghan Youth Boxer Mojtaba Haidari Continues Intensive Training for International Events
Mojtaba Haidari, a 17-year-old member of Afghanistan's national youth boxing team, is conducting intensive training to prepare for upcoming international competitions.
Haidari began boxing seven years ago and has been part of the national boxing team for the past four years. He has won two medals in international events held in Russia and China, along with more than 10 medals in domestic competitions.
The boxer was scheduled to compete in qualifying events in Thailand this month but could not participate due to a lack of funding from the Afghanistan Sports Administration. Despite this setback, Haidari continues his training at his own expense.
Haidari expressed determination, stating he has never been discouraged and aims to win world medals and raise Afghanistan's flag. Previously, a number of national athletes have called for an end to problems and irregularities affecting athletes by the government.
