
Afghan National Bodybuilders to Compete in South Asian Championships at Personal Expense
Sixteen Afghan national bodybuilders, along with four delegations, are scheduled to participate in South Asian bodybuilding competitions, covering their travel and participation costs personally.
Abdul Rahman Hamid, Secretary General of the Afghanistan Bodybuilding Federation, stated that the Physical Education Administration has covered expenses for one sports event but provided no support for these South Asian championships.
The competitions will feature teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and Afghanistan.
The federation recently announced the list of selected athletes, who represent various provinces across the country:

2. Miwand Babarkhel – Kunduz Province
3. Ahmad Habibi – Balkh Province
4. Bilal Jalili – Ghazni Province
5. Faramozi Akramzadeh – Baghlan Province
6. Hakmatullah Aloumi – Kandahar Province
7. Jawad Mirzai – Kabul Province
8. Mohammad Ali Hasani – Ghazni Province
9. Mahmoud Matin – Farah Province
10. Ismatullah Amiri – Kabul Province
11. Sanaullah Barahani – Kabul Province
12. Ahmad Shuja Mohammadi – Jowzjan Province
13. Khwaja Rafi Sadiqui – Kabul Province
14. Mullah Dad Ahmadzai – Balkh Province
15. Nasibullah Azimi – Balkh Province
16. Naib Mubarak – Kabul Province
