Afghan mixed martial arts fighter Abdul Karim Badakhshi is scheduled to face Spanish opponent Fabia Sintes on March 28 at the Olympic Hall in Barcelona, Spain.
The bout will take place under the World of Warriors Fighting Championship (WOW FC) and is for the organization's championship belt, according to Abdul Azim Badakhshi, the fighter's brother, who announced the matchup on his Facebook page.
Badakhshi enters the fight with a professional record of nine wins and three losses. The upcoming contest marks his first opportunity to compete for a recognized world title in a major European and international organization.
His opponent, Fabia Sintes, has a record of 10 wins and three losses and currently holds the lightweight championship of WOW FC.
The event is set for the Padalona area of Barcelona.
