Afghan Forces Seize 95 TM Mines and 2,500 Rifle Bullets in Khost Province

Afghan forces seized 95 TM mines and 2,500 rifle bullets in the Nader Shah Kot district of Khost province.

The seizure was carried out in the Jani Khilo area by Mansuri Corps personnel acting on intelligence reports.

Two smugglers were arrested as they transported the items from Pakistan in an Alto vehicle.

Khost governor's spokesman Mustagfar Garbaz said the Afghan defense forces are committed to preventing the illegal import and export of weapons and ammunition.

Garbaz stated that the forces will continue efforts to stop such smuggling activities across borders.

The operation reflects the priority placed on intercepting illegal weapons and munitions before they can be distributed or used within the country.

Security personnel emphasized their focus on intelligence-driven actions to disrupt smuggling networks operating between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The seized mines and bullets were taken into custody as authorities work to ensure they do not reach unauthorized hands.
