215 Azm Corps Brigade Rescues Stranded People and Tankers from Floods in Dilaram District

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) -- Members of the 8th Khalid bin Walid Border Brigade from the 215 Azm Corps rescued stranded people, vehicles and several tankers from floodwaters in Dilaram district of Farah province last night.

Engineering department teams from the brigade conducted the rescue operations amid heavy flooding in the area.

Commander of the 215 Azm Corps, Maulvi Mohammad Ayub Khalid, instructed officials to utilize all available resources to rescue people affected by the floods.

The corps commander emphasized that rescue efforts would continue as needed and that assistance would be provided to those impacted by the flooding.

The operations highlight the defense forces' response to natural disasters in remote border areas, where seasonal floods often strand travelers and disrupt supply lines.
