US Secretary of State Rubio: America Cannot Impose Ukraine Deal on Anyone
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States cannot impose any agreement regarding Ukraine on others and is solely aiming to assist the conflicting parties.
According to a TASS report on Monday, February 16, Rubio said Washington will continue its efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis. He added: "We are not seeking to impose an agreement on anyone. We don't want to force anyone to accept an agreement they don't want. We just want to help them."
The report indicated that the United States is the only country to have brought the parties involved in the Ukraine crisis to the negotiating table, with Washington's mediation enabling the resumption of talks between them.
Rubio further stated that Washington will exert all efforts to achieve a diplomatic agreement with Iran, though he acknowledged the path would not be easy. He noted that reaching such an agreement with Iran is difficult, but the United States will try and hopes it will be realized.
