Tom Pritzker, an American billionaire, wrote in a 2011 email to Jeffrey Epstein that during his trip to Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus, commander of U.S. and NATO forces, lent him two helicopters.

Pritzker described being in remote areas of Afghanistan, calling the trip the fulfillment of his birthday wish. In the email, he stated: "I'm in far-flung areas in Afghanistan (this is my birthday wish) and with boys and toys. Yesterday I spent time with Petraeus and he lent me a helicopter (actually two helicopters with one as backup). Can't contact until tomorrow."

Released documents indicate Pritzker exchanged emails with Epstein for years regarding travel plans and events.

Following the publication of these documents, Pritzker resigned from his position as executive chairman of the board of Hyatt Hotels.

Jeffrey Epstein, accused of sexually abusing underage girls, died in prison in August 2019.
