UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated that approximately 880 Palestinian families in various areas of the West Bank have been forced to leave their homes and become displaced following organized attacks by Israeli settlers and severe restrictions.

Dujarric, speaking to Al Jazeera, emphasized that international humanitarian organizations are issuing serious warnings regarding the actions of Israeli military personnel and settlers against Palestinian residents in the West Bank.

The spokesperson for UN Secretary-General António Guterres previously announced that since the beginning of 2026, more than 900 Palestinian citizens in the occupied West Bank have been compelled to flee their homes due to intensified settler violence.

During a news conference, Dujarric expressed severe concern over the security situation in the West Bank, noting that pressures, targeted attacks, and an atmosphere of fear created by settlers are the primary drivers of this new wave of forced displacement.
