
Two Suspects Arrested in Kunar for Stealing 23kg of Silver from Kabul Trader
ASADABAD, Afghanistan — Security forces arrested two suspects in Asadabad city, the capital of Kunar province, for stealing 23 kilograms of silver from a trader in Paghman district of Kabul province.
The Ministry of Interior issued a statement confirming the arrests, stating that personnel from the 4th police district in Asadabad carried out the operation.
According to the ministry, the suspects were detained while in possession of the stolen silver.
The theft targeted a trader in Paghman, a district west of Kabul, but the suspects were apprehended hundreds of kilometers away in eastern Kunar province.
