Taliban Ministry of Higher Education distributes bachelor's degrees to over 315 religious school graduates
The Taliban Ministry of Higher Education stated that it has distributed bachelor's degrees to more than 315 graduates of religious and jihadist schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The ministry issued the statement on Thursday, saying the documents were handed out the previous day following examinations.
According to documents published by the ministry, recipients include graduates from religious schools in Pakistan, such as the Haqqani school.
Documents obtained by Amu TV indicate that the Taliban have also issued master's degrees to 2,519 graduates of religious and jihadist schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan. These graduates hail from dozens of Pakistani religious schools, including Darul Uloom Haqqania.
Prior documents obtained by Amu TV show that the Taliban distributed master's degrees to 2,519 graduates in three separate batches during the solar years 1401 and 1402 (corresponding to 2022-2023). Beneficiaries include graduates from institutions such as Noor al-Madaris al-Farooqia in Quetta, Darul Uloom Tajabad in Peshawar, Imdad al-Uloom al-Islamia in Peshawar, al-Umariyah fi al-Pakistan, and Siraj al-Uloom Kahi in Pakistan, among dozens of others.
Amu TV's findings reveal that the largest number of master's degrees went to graduates from three schools affiliated with Darul Uloom Haqqania: al-Haqqania Akora Khattak, Darul Uloom Haqqania, and Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak.
