Russia: No Signs of US, Israel Restraint in War Against Iran
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that there are no indications the United States and Israel, which initiated military operations against Iran under a "baseless" pretext, are prepared for restraint or to halt bloodshed.
In a statement issued on Thursday, March 5, the ministry warned that the aggressors are attempting to create divisions in the Islamic world during the month of Ramadan.
According to the statement, those responsible for the war have deliberately provoked Iran into conducting retaliatory attacks on military facilities in several Arab countries, resulting in human casualties and material damage.
Moscow emphasized that these actions aim to draw Arab countries into a conflict serving others' interests while diverting attention from the dire situation facing the Palestinian people.
The Foreign Ministry urged all involved parties to immediately cease hostilities and described any attacks on civilians or civilian infrastructure in Iran and Gulf Cooperation Council countries as "completely unacceptable."
Russia stated that the only way to avert further regional instability is for the United States and Israel to halt their actions and attacks.
