The Maimana municipality in Faryab province has begun a project for the rehabilitation and patching of paved roads in various parts of the city.

The project is being funded from the municipality's development budget at a total cost of 1,655,550 Afghanis.

Maimana mayor Mawlawi Mohammad Amin Farqani stated that the project will increase transportation facilities for citizens and prevent further damage to the roads.
