
Qatar Urges Immediate Cessation of War Against Iran in Call With Iranian Foreign Minister
Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi held a phone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.
Al-Thani emphasized Qatar's stance against the use of force and in support of respect for Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stressed the urgent need for an immediate cessation of the war against Iran and the return of stability and security to the region.
Araqchi attributed the current situation to military aggression by America and the Zionist regime against Iran. He highlighted the misuse of their military bases and assets in regional countries as part of this aggression.
The phone call underscores diplomatic communications between the two nations amid regional tensions.
