Pakistani religious scholars stated at a press conference in Balochistan on Wednesday that foreign forces are working to sow division, hatred, and distrust to prevent unity among Muslim countries and destabilize Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran.

The scholars, speaking amid escalating security tensions in Balochistan, emphasized that war is not a solution to any problem. They urged all parties, including Pakistan's federal government, to resolve the province's issues through dialogue.

Dr. Ata-ur-Rahman, Mohammad Juma Asadi, Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani, and Abdul Rahman Noorzai spoke jointly after the conference titled "Restoring Peace in Balochistan and Building Trust, Responsibilities of Ulema and Sheikhs." They stressed that sustainable solutions lie in justice, mediation, and reconciliation rather than force.

The scholars called on the Pakistani government to conduct transparent investigations into all missing persons cases. They said anyone identified as a "criminal" should be tried in open courts, while innocent individuals must be released immediately.

They affirmed that prominent ulema and sheikhs in Balochistan are ready to assume any responsibilities assigned to them to restore peace and stability in the province.

Meanwhile, Pakistani officials have repeatedly accused the Taliban in Afghanistan of supporting and harboring members of the Baloch Liberation Army and Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP.

The Taliban have previously denied these accusations, stating they do not allow any group to operate or use Afghan soil against other countries.

Pakistani officials have repeatedly urged the Taliban to act against safe havens for anti-Pakistan groups on Afghan soil and prevent attacks from being organized there against Pakistan.
