Netanyahu Says War With Iran Not Over as US Warns of Escalation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war with Iran is not over, warning that new developments could unfold at any moment. The remarks came during a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei.

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States has dispatched negotiators to Pakistan to reach a deal with Tehran. Trump accused Iran of violating the ceasefire in the Strait of Hormuz and warned that the U.S. could carry out strikes on Iranian power plants and bridges if an agreement is not reached.

Trump confirmed that U.S. forces seized an Iranian vessel in the Strait of Hormuz after disabling and boarding it. Iranian officials described the seizure as armed piracy.

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz told ABC News that the next round of talks could yield very significant results.

The statements reflect ongoing diplomatic efforts between the sides even as military tensions persist in the Strait of Hormuz. The waterway is a critical route for global energy supplies. Iran has warned against U.S. pressure and any naval blockade in the area.
