Massive Explosions Reported in Tehran Amid Ongoing US-Israel Attacks on Iran

Iranian media reported massive explosions in Tehran on Sunday, with details on locations, targets or nature still unclear. Iranian, Israeli and American officials have made no statements about the incident.

The explosions come as joint attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran enter their fourth week. Dozens of sites in Iran have been targeted by missiles and bombs from American and Israeli fighter jets.

In response, Iran has launched dozens of missile and drone strikes on U.S. targets in the region and on Israel.

The developments follow a 48-hour ultimatum issued by U.S. President Donald Trump demanding Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz to commercial shipping. In a social media post, Trump stated that failure to comply would lead to U.S. attacks on Iran's energy power plants, beginning with the largest.

Iranian officials warned that any U.S. attack on the country's energy infrastructure would prompt extensive retaliation.
