
Man Dies from Injuries in Family Clash in Nangarhar
JALALABAD, Afghanistan — A man died from injuries sustained in a clash between two families in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province, Nangarhar police reported.
The incident occurred three days ago in the 8th police district of Jalalabad. According to a statement from Nangarhar police, the clash began as a verbal dispute involving children from the two families and escalated into physical violence, injuring one man.
Police responded promptly to reports of the clash and transported the wounded individual to Nangarhar Regional Hospital for medical treatment.
The man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital last night, police said.
In connection with the incident, two suspects have been arrested, according to Nangarhar police.
