
Lebanon's Health Ministry Reports at Least 2,020 Killed in Israeli Attacks Since March 2
Lebanon's Ministry of Health announced that at least 2,020 people have been killed and more than 6,400 wounded in Israeli attacks across the country since March 2, 2026.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the attacks amid rising civilian casualties, including children. Human Rights Watch called on the United States, Britain, Germany and other European Union countries to halt arms sales and military aid to Israel.
The World Food Programme stated that Lebanon is facing a food security crisis due to the war. Reuters reported disruptions in the entry of goods into Lebanon, which have reduced access to food.
Israeli attacks have destroyed large parts of Lebanon's infrastructure, worsening the overall humanitarian situation as the country grapples with escalating violence and its consequences.
