Islamic Emirate Launches Wheat and Cash Distribution for Returning Migrants in Parwan

Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, launched the distribution of wheat and cash to returning migrants during a visit to Parwan province.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock stated that, in line with guidance from Amir al-Mu'minin, the program will provide 1,200 returning families with five sacks of wheat and 5,000 Afghanis in cash.

Omari emphasized the importance of supporting returnees, noting that basic food supplies and cash aid are crucial for family economic stability and preventing nutritional issues. He said the ministry, in coordination with other institutions, aims to make such programs sustainable.

Parwan's governor also stressed continued assistance to migrants, adding that provincial emirate departments, working with the ministry, will expand efforts to aid needy and returning families.

Returning families expressed satisfaction with the aid, stating it addresses key initial needs upon their return to the country.

The initiative forms part of broader Islamic Emirate measures to address returning migrants' situations and ensure food security across provinces.
