Islamic Emirate Justice Minister Urges Cooperation in Aiding Wounded from Pakistan Border Attacks

KHOST, Afghanistan (Afghan Verified) - Maulvi Abdul Hakim Shar'i, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a meeting with religious scholars, influential figures and tribal elders in Khost province on Tuesday.

During the gathering at the Feizane Al-Oloom religious school in the Lakani area of Khost, according to Bakhtar News, Shar'i called for cooperation from local departments, scholars, elders and the public in treating wounded civilians and supporting families affected by attacks on border areas.

Shar'i described the attacks by Pakistan's military regime as "cowardly" and said they had resulted in the martyrdom of civilians, especially women and children, in various parts of the country. He noted that the Islamic Emirate is providing care and treatment to the wounded from these incidents.

"In addition to the local departments in Khost, the people should also cooperate in this regard and hold the hands of their compatriots," Shar'i said.

The scholars and tribal elders assured their cooperation and pledged to provide necessary assistance to the wounded and affected families, according to both Bakhtar News and RTA.

The appeal comes amid ongoing tensions along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, where cross-border incidents have been reported.
