Islamic Emirate allocates 1,000 jeribs of land for standard cold storages in Panjshir

Panjshir provincial officials announced that, based on a decree from Amir al-Mu'minin, 1,000 jeribs of land have been allocated for constructing standard cold storages for fresh fruits in Panjshir province.

The media office of the Panjshir provincial governorate stated that the facilities will be built to modern standards to improve storage conditions for agricultural products.

Officials from the Panjshir Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock described the initiative as a key step toward developing modern agriculture and horticulture, reducing waste of farm products and boosting incomes for farmers and landowners.

Residents of Panjshir praised the Islamic Emirate leadership's decision, which followed proposals and efforts by provincial authorities, calling it unprecedented in the province's history.

The plan calls for establishing standard, modern cold storages across the province to enable better preservation of horticultural products.
