
India Hands Over Three Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan's National Disaster Management Preparedness Authority
KABUL — India handed over three tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan's National Disaster Management Preparedness Authority in Kabul.
The aid consists of 300 health kits, 50 kitchen kits, 495 foldable beds, and 165 tarpaulins. It is intended for families affected by floods and other needy people living in harsh conditions.
In a press release, officials from the National Disaster Management Preparedness Authority described the assistance as highly valuable humanitarian cooperation. They assured that the aid would be distributed transparently to those in need after completing an inventory process.
The authority also noted that India has previously provided similar emergency assistance to Afghans impacted by natural disasters.
