
India and Brazil sign mining cooperation agreement
India signed an agreement on Sunday, 3 Hut, to expand cooperation in the mining and minerals sector with Brazil, according to a Reuters report.
The deal aims to help India meet its domestic steel demand and increase production capacity.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who was on a three-day visit to New Delhi.
