Javed Ashraf Qazi, former chief of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence, has stated that the Pakistani Taliban, known as TTP, is seeking to form its own government. He made the remarks while speaking to the News Hour publication.

Qazi said that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, TTP members relocated there. The group has established camps in all districts bordering Pakistan.

The former ISI chief noted that the TTP continues attacks on Pakistani security forces and police despite agreements. He said the group's main goal is to create independent rule in Pakistan's tribal areas.

Qazi claimed the TTP receives indirect financial and weapons support from India and the Afghan Taliban. This assistance is intended to destabilize Pakistan, he added.

He urged Islamabad to deal decisively with the TTP and eliminate the group. These statements highlight the former chief's assessment of the security challenges facing Pakistan.

The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Afghanistan International: "indirect support from India and Afghanistan" and "provide money and weapons for the war against Pakistan" - these phrases frame the claims as established facts with accusatory geopolitical implications without providing evidence, mixing reporting with opinionated allegation.
