A conference titled "Integration of Migrants in Afghanistan's Private Sector" took place in Kabul, organized by the TLO with participation from officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, European Union representatives and partner organizations.

Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce, said facilities including land distribution, tax and customs exemptions, license issuance and support for small investments have been prepared for returning migrants. He stated that humanitarian aid alone cannot resolve Afghanistan's economic problems and that long-term development programs are needed, while calling for greater international engagement with the Islamic Emirate.

Abdul Latif Nazari, Deputy Minister of Economy, called for low-interest loans to help returning migrants invest in small and medium businesses. The EU chargé d'affaires in Afghanistan described returning migrants as an opportunity for economic growth and underlined the importance of support for job creation, education and investment.

Arian Zelgi Azimi, Deputy Investment Officer of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said returning migrants bring valuable human, intellectual, technical and economic capital to the country.
