
Britain Provides Additional Three Million Pounds in Aid to Afghanistan
Richard Lindsey, UK Special Representative for Afghanistan, announced on his X account that Britain is allocating an additional three million pounds, equivalent to 257 million afghanis, in aid to Afghanistan.
The aid is intended to provide essential nutritional materials and support for those affected by natural disasters, Lindsey stated.
He added that this latest contribution brings Britain's total bilateral aid to Afghanistan for the current fiscal year to 154 million pounds, equivalent to 13.18 billion afghanis.
Lindsey's announcement highlights ongoing British support amid Afghanistan's humanitarian challenges, focusing on immediate needs like nutrition and disaster relief. The precise figures underscore the scale of the aid package relative to the fiscal year's cumulative assistance.
