Armed Men Seize Pakistani Force Posts in Jhal Magsi, Attacks Reported in Mastung

Armed men captured two posts of Pakistani security forces in the Lundi and Safarari areas of Jhal Magsi district in Balochistan province, local sources said. The attackers released the personnel at the request of residents but seized their weapons and motorcycles.

In a separate incident, attacks targeted Pakistani forces in the Dasht Kambleh area near Mastung district, also in Balochistan, resulting in casualties. Specific numbers of those killed or wounded were not provided.

No group has claimed responsibility for either the post seizures or the attacks in Mastung. However, local sources identified the armed men as members of the Baloch freedom-seeking army.

The Dasht Kambleh area near Quetta has seen rising insecurity in recent times, according to reports. The incidents highlight ongoing tensions in Balochistan, where armed groups frequently target security forces and infrastructure.

Balochistan Post, as cited by Hurriyat, reported the events amid broader concerns over security in the region close to Quetta, the provincial capital.
