KABUL (Afghan Verified) -- Afghanistan's Ministry of Justice has closed 19 transaction guide offices in Kabul over the past month due to violations and illegal activities.

According to a press release from the ministry, the supervisory board of the Transaction Guides and Petition Writers Directorate inspected 149 such offices in Kabul during the month of Dalwa. As a result of these inspections, 19 offices were shut down for illegal operations, while issues in other offices were identified and officials were advised on resolving problems and complying with legal standards.

The ministry stated that during the same period, the directorate issued new activity licenses to 90 applicants and renewed licenses for 59 other offices. Additionally, training programs on mediation principles in transactions and proper transaction procedures were conducted for approximately 135 operators of transaction guide offices.

Transaction guide offices facilitate legal and property transactions in Afghanistan, and the ministry's actions aim to ensure compliance with regulations.
