Mujtaba Haidari, a 17-year-old member of Afghanistan's youth national boxing team, is conducting intensive training for upcoming international events.

Haidari began boxing seven years ago and has been part of the national team for four years. He has secured two medals in international competitions held in Russia and China, along with more than 10 medals in domestic events.

Haidari was scheduled to compete in qualifying events in Thailand this month but could not participate due to a lack of funding from the Afghanistan Sports Administration.

Despite the setback, Haidari said he remains undeterred and continues training at his own expense. "My main goal is winning valuable world medals and raising the flag of Afghanistan," he stated.

The boxer has expressed determination to prepare for future competitions. Previously, a number of national athletes have called for an end to problems and irregularities affecting them from the government.
