Afghan fighter Jawid Basharat has joined the Professional Fighters League as one of 18 new fighters from 14 countries. The PFL also added Daniel Marcos, another former UFC competitor. The signings cover nine weight classes.
Basharat, known as the Snow Leopard, last competed at UFC Fight Night 266. On February 7 he defeated Gianni Vazquez by unanimous decision. His professional record stands at 15 wins and 2 losses.
PFL executive president John Martin stated the organization is developing its roster to maintain competitiveness. The move is expected to open new opportunities in Basharat's career.
