167 Afghan Prisoners Transferred from Iran to Afghanistan

Iran transferred 167 Afghan prisoners to Afghanistan on Tuesday. The prisoners crossed the border at Milak in Helmand province. They will continue serving their sentences in Afghanistan following the handover.
The transfer took place under bilateral agreements between Iran and Afghanistan. It involved coordination between relevant institutions in both countries and the Iranian Ministry of Justice.
Alireza Shahraki, the Helmand district governor, confirmed the details. He said the process was carried out in line with the law. Representatives from both sides took part in the handover.
