12 Killed, 3 Injured in Traffic Accident in Afghanistan's Badakhshan Province

The office of the spokesperson for the Taliban police command in Badakhshan province announced that 12 people, including women, men, and children, were killed and three others seriously injured in a traffic accident in the province.
The incident occurred on Saturday in the Samadara area of Arghanj Khwah district when a Flanco-type vehicle overturned from the road into a valley due to excessive road deterioration, according to the statement.
The vehicle was traveling from Faizabad city, the provincial capital, toward the center of Arghanj Khwah district.
The spokesperson's office issued the statement detailing the casualties and cause of the crash.
Traffic accidents in Afghanistan claim hundreds of lives annually, primarily due to poor road conditions, driver negligence, and failure to follow traffic rules.
