Iran FM Araqchi: Just Solution to Palestinian Issue Cornerstone of Sustainable Regional, Global Security

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi emphasized the importance of the Palestinian issue, stating that "a just solution to the Palestinian issue is the cornerstone of sustainable security in the region and the world."
Iran's Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Saturday, February 7, announcing that Araqchi made these remarks at the 17th Al Jazeera Forum, themed "The Palestinian Issue and Regional Balance in the Framework of the Formation of a Multipolar World," held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Araqchi said: "Palestine is not merely a humanitarian or regional issue, but the cornerstone of sustainable security in West Asia and a measure of the international community's commitment to the principles of international law."
He described the ongoing developments in Palestine as extending beyond a military conflict, characterizing the mass killing of people and destruction of vital infrastructure in the Gaza Strip as international crimes and clear violations of fundamental human principles. According to the ministry's statement, Araqchi referred to these actions as an open genocide.
The foreign minister warned that the continued impunity of the Israeli regime undermines the international legal order, with its actions posing a serious threat to global peace and stability.
